ABOUT FLORIANA REINIKIS

Floriana is a highly experienced Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years of expertise in NHS Mental Health Services, private practice, and schools. She has worked extensively across the lifespan, supporting both children and adults with neurodevelopmental conditions, as well as co-occurring mental health challenges such as Anxiety, OCD, Depression, and Trauma/PTSD. With a deep commitment to neuroaffirmative practice, Floriana is a specialist in the assessment, diagnosis, and post-diagnostic support of ADHD and Autism across the lifespan. She is also a dedicated trainer and supervisor, equipping professionals with the skills and knowledge to carry out high-quality, strengths-based neurodevelopmental assessments. She has trained mental health professionals from both NHS services and independent practice, helping them to develop expertise in neuroaffirmative ADHD and Autism assessment, post-diagnostic support, and therapeutic interventions. Floriana delivers a range of training courses tailored to clinicians working with neurodivergent individuals. Her courses focus on best practices in ADHD assessment, post-diagnosis, and neuroaffirmative therapeutic approaches. Floriana has a strong passion for supporting parents navigating the complexities of raising neurodivergent children. Having worked with families for over two decades in both NHS and private settings, she understands the emotional, practical, and systemic challenges parents face. She provides coaching, guidance, and therapeutic support to help parents foster a deeper connection with their child and advocate effectively for their needs. Drawing from a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including CBT, Compassion-Focused Therapy, ACT, Non-Violent Resistance, Trauma-Focused CBT, and EMDR, Floriana tailors her interventions to meet the unique needs of each individual and family. As someone who was diagnosed with ADHD in adulthood, Floriana has personal insight into the lived experience of neurodivergence. This fuels her dedication to helping others navigate their own diagnostic journey with self-compassion and confidence. After leaving the NHS, Floriana founded Oasis Psychological Services, a specialist service providing individualised neurodevelopmental assessments and therapeutic interventions for children, young people, and adults. Oasis Psychological Services is home to a multidisciplinary team, including Clinical Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, Art Therapists, Systemic Therapists, and CBT Therapists, all working together to provide comprehensive and holistic support.
