I am an experienced administrator, clinical psychologist, author, and change leader with an ardent commitment to public service. In 2018, I was honoured and humbled to receive the national Award for Distinguished Contributions to Public or Community Service presented by the Canadian Psychological Association. SPECIALTIES:I am a bilingual leader, entrepreneur, health professional, business woman, national public speaker, author, and university lecturer. I work closely with community leaders and key political representatives at the provincial and national levels. Administratively, my skills vary from strategic planning, to budget management, to operations. I\'m a developer, visionary, gatherer and motivator. Clinically, my expertise is in trauma, anxiety and depression. I also work closely with several first responder organizations across Canada. I strive to impart values of integrity, commitment, quality, equity and compassion into every project.** KEY CONTRIBUTIONS ** Lead first responder program initiatives across Canada. As a member of provincial leadership advisory councils, offer guidance in the transformation of our health care system and in the deployment of key programs across Ontario. Directed the merger and acquisition of the Crisis Service, Geriatric-Psychiatry Service, Assertive Community Treatment Team and Addiction Service of Eastern Ontario. Developed the Clarence-Rockland Mental Health and Addiction (MHA) Centre; expanded the Casselman Mental Health and Addiction Centre. Key contributor to the development of the new MHA Regional Centre in Hawkesbury. Developed 7 innovative community programs in MHA in Eastern Ontario.Developed and/or implemented over 15 regional and provincial programs.(Examples:) Diabetes and Mental Health Program First Episode Psychosis Program Opioid Community Treatment Program Behavioural Support Program in Geriatric-Psychiatry (dementia-related) Substance Abuse Supportive Housing Program
