Dr. Faraj Edher became a prosthodontist because he wanted to make a difference. He realized that dentistry wasn’t just about teeth, it was a tool to transform how someone feels, how they show up, how they live. That’s why he founded Transcend Specialized Dentistry (transcenddentistry.ca), a multi-specialty clinic in Vancouver built on one principle: uncompromising quality. The practice focuses on complex restorative and aesthetic cases — full-mouth reconstructions, smile makeovers, and implant solutions — with prosthodontics, periodontics, and orthodontics under one roof. He also founded Transcend Lab, an in-house dental laboratory integrating advanced digital workflows with craftsmanship, precision, and quality.Dr. Edher is the founder of the BC Dental Study Club (bcdentalstudyclub.ca). It has grown into one of the largest dental continuing education communities in North America as a community focused on raising the standard of care and clinical excellence.He serves as Clinical Assistant Professor at UBC and lectures frequently at national and international conferences. As a key opinion leader in digital dentistry and implant dentistry, he also advises leading dental companies.None of this would be possible though without a team of remarkable people.
