About S. Andrew Stowe
Dr. S. Andrew Stowe is an Associate Professor of English and Director of the Writing and Multimedia Center at Anderson University (SC). He developed and coordinates the Writing and Digital Studies Concentration and teaches courses on persuasive writing, business communication, and multimedia/visual design. Stowe’s teaching has been recognized with Anderson University’s SCICU Excellence in Teaching Award (2018) and Clemson University’s Scott Douglass Award for Excellence in Teaching (2016). In 2019, PASCAL recognized him as a “Professor for Affordable Learning.” He keeps his courses current by integrating research and contemporary media examples into classroom practice. His scholarship includes editorial work on Flash Reason/Textshop Experiments and a chapter in Parlor Press’s Exquisite Corpse: Art-Based Writing Practices in the Academy, along with publications and conference presentations in rhetoric and writing studies.
