   Aug 2021 — Present

   Served as the founding administrator for the Ednovate Virtual Academy, an independent study program servicing 9-12th grade students from 6 different high schools in the Ednovate network.Started the program in only 3 weeks in response to CA Assembly Bill 130.Hired and managed a team of 10 educators to provide support to more than 150 students & families while also collaborating with district support staff, principals, and external service providers.Engaged in a collaborative school design process with a team of 12 leaders across 5 different departments. Gathered parent and student testimonials, researched the educational landscape for online education, evaluated digital curriculum, and facilitated the culminating implementation plan.Created and implemented network level academic policies, data systems, operations & compliance procedures, and strategic planning. Revamped SEL curriculum, student interventions, special education systems, professional development, recruitment, and parent engagement to meet the needs of virtual learning.Implemented accessibility strategies to increase our average student GPA from 2.3 to 2.9 in 1 year.
