About Drew Dotson
I finished my memoir manuscript in 2021 and secured a literary agent to help my book find its home. Born with cystic fibrosis, I spent much of my life fearing death — but it never came [at least for me]. I fell in love, got married, then [spoiler!] became a widow after my husband\'s short battle with leukemia. My fear of death kept me from living, but now I\'m committed to living life. I\'m also big into improvisation and began studying it professionally in 2008. I love leading improv groups for therapeutic purposes, like mindfulness, anxiety/depression, recovery, grief, etc. There is so much joy in the present moment. My hope is to make the world a better place – just a smidgen [or more] each day.
