Drew has recently retired from full time work; most recently with the nation\'s leading fruit delivery company- The FruitGuys, who pioneered the “fruit at work” concept to help corporations provide healthy options to employees during their workday. Moving forward, Drew will help guide Deep Roots Market, a local food co-op, as board president, and resume professional theater performance and coaching from his home base in Greensboro, NC. Previously, Drew developed online B2B career center solutions for the most prestigious titles in the legal and fashion industries (American Lawyer Media and Conde Nast). In addition to acting and directing, Drew\'s 30 years of business development and arts administration include directing online and print operations for daily and weekly newspapers, creating B2B sales organizations, sales consulting and outdoor festival production. He also founded and directed a not-for-profit theater company in New York City, and is an active member of Actors\' Equity, the union representing American Actors and Stage Managers in the theater.Drew has produced a variety of in-market events including media sponsored music festivals, live career fairs, and has extensive experience in all aspects of the performing arts. He has artistic representation through JTA Talent in Charlotte, NC.An effective communicator and public speaker, Drew also excels at team building, goal setting and strategic planning. He has done media and sales consulting with the American Press Institute, Times-Shamrock Communications, the Specialty Food Association, and the NY Botanical Garden. We provide overall direction and ensure the long-range security and viability of the Co-op, developing policies and vision to strengthen local control of this essential service. We support local and organic farmers, food producers, restaurateurs, bakers, soap makers, brewers, and more. Food dollars spent locally bolster the local economy, and help support small family farms.
