   Cultivated strong connections with diverse students by applying relationship building, interpersonal/communication, and active listening skills- Utilized the ASCA National Model by supporting students through academic, social/emotional, and college/career obstacles- Collaborated with team of school counselors, including supervisor Amanda Boztepe- Consulted with administration, as well as teachers and staff- Facilitated a group based upon students’ needs, primarily soft skills such as organization, professionalism, leadership, self-awareness, and team building. Focused on creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for students- Strongly advocated for equity and access for all students by conducting needs assessments to best serve population- Actively participated on the PLC Team (Professional Learning Community). Supported 130+ 9th grade students to successfully transition to the academics at the high school level. Intentionally focused on academic interventions.
