About Drew Torrens

With my two wonderful parents in education, I learned to value a few things at a young age: hard work, lifelong learning, and dedicated service to others. As I watched them and as I grew into the man that I am today, I find myself continually striving towards those attributes.To save for college and a two-year church mission, I began working at a young age. Both would be hefty expenses, and so my work life began at 15 doing odd jobs for folks I could find. Early on I learned the importance of punctuality, diligence, and effectiveness.At 19, as I began my two-year mission for my church, I traveled around North and South Carolina and Tennessee, where I lead many of my peers as well as gained an unquenchable love for people. I met many who wished for a better life but lacked the know-how to achieving it. This hurt me deeply.Now attending school, I press forward having realized my true passion: helping young people and families build generational wealth. I know that while money isn’t everything, people are. When people have their financial needs met, they can focus their energy where it matters most- the ones they love.
