ABOUT DREW TINNIN

Currently, Drew is a Staff Writer and Film Critic for Dread Central Media, a leading genre site for over ten years generating two to three million visitors per month. After winning an on-air job contest in late 2008, Drew rose from Researcher to Associate Producer on the popular late night horror show, Fangoria Radio, hosted by rock legend Dee Snider and Independent Film star Debbie Rochon. After starting a popular blog on Fangoria’s website chronicling his sometimes informative and always bizarre experiences from the radio show, longtime magazine editor and horror guru Tony Timpone asked Drew to begin writing for Fangoria magazine which continues to be an entertainment staple in the publishing world since its inception in 1979. Since his writing career began, Drew has contributed to numerous film sites including indie darling Gordon and the Whale where he eventually became Editor-in-Chief and, most recently, Dazed and Confused Digital out of London. Fortunate to still be working his “dream job” almost ten years later, Drew has had the privilege to contribute meaningful criticism in the film world, cover prestigious film festivals and interview some of the leading mainstream and independent talent in the industry including numerous celebrities. Always a passionate film fan first, Drew has now gained a good deal of experience providing long and short format content across digital media as he looks to venture into other opportunities in the field of entertainment.
