About Drew Silbaugh
I am currently a Operations Support Specialist at CEMEX within the Atlanta Ready-Mix USA division. My function is to assist the plants in their day to day operations, as well as drive improvement projects relating to health & safety, efficiency, plant upkeep, and personnel management. Throughout my time here at CEMEX, I have been lucky to be apart of the Talent Development Program, where I spent a year working within each division of the company learning their job functions & purpose. This program exposed me to rotations within various departments including safety, operations, sales, corporate, quality control, maintenance, dispatch, and more. It was my goal to learn and perform each departments job functions to gain a better understanding for how our company operates. This experience has clearly defined the impact that each department has on providing an exceptional service to our customers.Being apart of this program has greatly benefited me upon entering my current role, where I am assigned various projects & initiatives that are meant to support and improve the plant operations within the Atlanta region.
