About Drew Reimers
20+ years cross functional project management experience across a range of project types including clinical studies and programs, process improvement, capacity and resource management, system development. I am currently the Global Program Management Lead for 2 immuno-oncology programs and a late phase oncology program. My primary responsibilities are leading the development and management of integrated project plans, timelines, risk management plans, communication plans and goals. Prior to this role, I held several positions including:Sr. Project Manager in Commercialization. I led three cross-functional teams on an immuno-oncology marketed product to ensure they operate efficiently in defining and delivering their objectives. I drive planning, ensure alignment, identify/resolve issues and ensure effective communication laterally and vertically.Strategic Planning and Operations Director for the Global Development Oncology and Inflammation Therapeutic Areas (TA). I managed the internal department operations to include budgets, goals, staffing, training, compliance, and issue resolution. I was the business lead or department SME for departmental initiatives and cross-functional projects. Sr. Manager Clinical Study Planning supporting the Global Development Oncology Therapeutic Area. In this role, I helped implement a new department to provide project management support to clinical studies. I have held roles in capacity management and process improvement during my tenure with Amgen beginning in 2002.Before joining Amgen, I held positions of increasing responsibility at General Dynamics and as a US Army Aviation Officer.
