ABOUT DREW RANGEL
I started working with young people experiencing homelessness and substance abuse in 2004. I worked with this population until 2012, when I decided to move to working in adolescent substance abuse treatment. I worked with youth, their families and staff until September 2017, when I decided to return to school to pursue my MSW. I have obtained my CADC II and would like to work towards my LCSW. I have a passion for working with people whom are facing system barriers and involvement, as well as LGBTQ identified individuals. Through my internship at DHS, I realized how much I enjoyed engaging the families and children involved with the agency. I became a casework but ultimately decided to go back to working on the clinical side.
