ABOUT DREW PETTINGA
With a father who showed me the ropes of photography and video at a young age, my journey in the dynamic world of sports photography and videography took flight. Working events such as DAZN Boxing, The OHL, NBA G-League, and many more have given me the experience of a lifetime at beginner point in my career. The Flint Firebirds have connected me with numerous opportunities such as filming games for the NBA G-League. That opportunity was once in a lifetime and only made me feel closer to my goal of reaching the professional sports level in the NHL, NBA, NFL, or MLB. Since a kid, I have been heavily involved in Detroit sports. Going to my first playoff game at Joe Louis Arena, to running the bases at old tiger stadium. It has been a dream of mine to call the city of Detroit my workplace. My role as a Production Assistant with DP Creative Group complements my expertise, ensuring smooth operations during shoots. My enthusiasm for visual storytelling is matched only by my dedication to the craft, turning fleeting moments into lasting memories, and eagerly embracing new connections and opportunities in this field.
