ABOUT DREW PAVAN
I am a sports anchor and reporter at WVUA 23, the leading source of news and information for West and Central Alabama. I am also a news media student at the University of Alabama, with a focus on sports communication. I have developed core competencies in videography, sports play-by-play, sports writing, and live production.In my current role, I find, create, and deliver stories and packages on teams, players, and coaches at the University of Alabama and surrounding areas. I also produce and anchor sports segments for the 10:00 news each weekend, and fill in for other time slots during the week if needed. Additionally, I write articles for the WVUA website daily, covering local and national sports news. I am passionate about sports journalism and storytelling, and I aim to bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team. I value collaboration, integrity, and excellence, and I strive to contribute to the success and growth of WVUA 23.
