About Drew Nystrom
After a strong career as a college football coach, I am eager to start a new career outside of the coaching industry following the birth of my son.I am a driven and accomplished professional with over a decade of experience leading diverse teams to maximize their potential and pursue daily excellence. I have a strong history of developing authentic relationships to ensure others maximize their performance potential.I enjoy developing and implementing short and long term plans for success while identifying and problem solving in high pressure situations. I have tremendous experience leading diverse teams and connecting with others to build successful partnerships within organizations and outside of them.Due to my experience coaching football at the collegiate level, I have a unique understanding of knowing how important it is to master your area of expertise while also understanding how it fits within the whole organization. I also possess the ability to motivate the younger generation to perform at a consistently high level and maximize their potential.My previous employers have benefitted from my ability to calmly process complex situations and clearly communicate solutions throughout all levels of the organization. Most recently, I was recognized by my peers in the Ohio Athletic Conference as the 2022 OAC co-Coach of the Year for my ability to lead the John Carroll University football team to an 8-2 record and Top 25 NCAA ranking.I have a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bowling Green State University and a Masters of Education in Higher Education Administration from the University of Delaware and I have developed skills in leadership, sales, and love connecting people together to create lasting partnerships.
