   Drew is a Managing Director at Monomoy Advisors, specializing in serving small & mid-size businesses and large corporations in the life sciences, biotech, technology (including SaaS Companies), manufacturing and distribution, media and entertainment, healthcare, professional services and defense & government contractors. With more than 18 years of experience in finance and accounting, Drew helps companies strategically navigate complex accounting, external reporting, and corporate accounting matters to support better decision-making. Clients turn to Drew for his proficiency in determining, monitoring, and disclosing financial and nonfinancial insights to stakeholders. His experience includes, large-scale projects related to adopting the new revenue recognition and lease standards, ASC 606/IFRS 15 and ASC 842/IFRS 16 respectively; technical accounting support including but not limited to, business combinations, carve-out financial statements, shared-based compensation, complex debt and equity instruments; acting as a technical accounting subject matter resource for buy and sell side due diligence teams; External Financial Reporting (SEC & US GAAP); and transitioning to public company status. Prior to joining the firm, Drew worked in public accounting at a Big 4 firm in Massachusetts. Drew earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a concentration in accounting, from Hawaii Pacific University. He earned accelerated advancement as an Intelligence Specialist in the United States Navy where he also received two Navy Achievement Medals and one Joint Services Achievement Medal. This work included supporting the Commander of the 7th Fleet out of Yokosuka, Japan and the Commander in Chief of the Pacific through the Joint Intelligence Center Pacific out of Pearl Harbor Hawaii.
