In my role as Geospatial Solutions Leader at Garver, I\'m dedicated to helping our clients address their \"problem of where\" by utilizing GIS, data, and innovative processes. I actively contribute to a wide range of engineering projects by promoting the adoption of GIS and geospatial technologies, driving the industry forward. I take pride in implementing GIS solutions across the US for organizations that once considered it impossible due to costs or complexity. My passion lies in introducing innovation to traditional processes and systems.No longer relegated to back-office operations, I aim to place GIS and geospatial technologies at the forefront of projects and people on a large scale. Before joining Garver, I focused on supporting environmental engineering projects, developing GIS-based dam break analysis tools used to evaluate over dams. This toolset, an ACEC Grand Award winner in 2015, has proven its effectiveness against engineering-based dam breaks and post-event inundation extents. Additionally, I devised automated methods to identify unpermitted dams statewide using remotely sensed data (lidar and multispectral imagery).I\'m thrilled to witness the transformative impact of GIS, drones, AI, lidar, and other emerging technologies on the industry. These advancements will undoubtedly shape the future of engineering and geospatial solutions, and I\'m eager to be a part of this exciting journey.
