ABOUT DREW MCGUIRE

I have been working in Sales and Business Development for over 7 years both in office, and remote (partial field). My start in sales came in the form of an internship at Holon Solutions as an Inside sales and Marketing intern. My responsibilities included attaining new leads, and doing market research on all major competitors. My time at Holon included constant updates of the Salesforce CRM, sending minimally 40 to 50 emails a day to current customers or prospects promoting our Rightfax product line. This also included research, and phone calls for outside sales reps and their accounts. After moving on from Holon Solutions, I started working at I-Business Network selling SAP Business One for SMB. My responsibilities included prospecting for new accounts as well as covering existing clients. This position allowed me to participate in the entire sales cycle from initial discovery, proposal/Quote, and finally contract. In my brief time at I-BN I was able to close 3 deals with SMB accounts from prospect to contract stage. After moving on from SAP, I ventured into the Oracle platform with Emtec, Inc. I was tasked to sell the entire Oracle Cloud & On Premise Stack. My responsibilities were to manage minimally 8 and 10 million dollars in pipeline, with a goal of transitioning 3 million to the sales team each quarter. The customer base I sold into were based in Mid Market bordering on Enterprise with the occasional SMB account. I participated in the beginning of the sales cycle focusing on discovery, and deal qualification. My main objectives were to determine the appropriate product (Cloud or On Prem), and also to define budget and timeframe. For the first three quarters I performed at 100% in transferring 3 million dollars to the sales organization. After multiple restructures, and four management changes I have performed at 90% for the last couple of quarters.
