ABOUT DREW JARMUZ
I serve as the Rehab Strength Coach and Coordinator of Performance Integration for the Tampa Bay Rays, where I blend applied sports science, rehabilitation, and performance coaching to enhance player recovery, readiness, and development. As a Registered Dietitian (RD) and certified CSCS and CPSS, I bring an integrated perspective to athlete care—bridging the gaps between strength & conditioning, medical, and performance science. I help design and refine the systems our department uses to collect, analyze, and report data, supporting benchmarking, intervention evaluation, and communication with key stakeholders across the organization. At the complex, I provide daily on-site support to the performance team—collaborating with coaches, athletic trainers, and player development staff to align rehab progressions, workload management, and training design. With master’s degrees in Dietetics (Drexel University) and Sports Science (West Chester University), I’m committed to advancing data-informed processes that connect technology, communication, and performance to drive organizational effectiveness.Fluent in Spanish, I deliver individualized coaching and education across diverse player groups throughout our domestic and international settings.
