About Drew Hubbell

I am a highly versatile Architect with a diverse background that ranges from environmentally sustainable architecture to historic restoration to adaptive reuse of existing structures. I pioneered the first permitted straw bale structure in San Diego County and my firm specializes in green building materials and the use of alternative and reclaimed building materials. Hubbell and Hubbell, in partnership with the world renowned studios of artist James T Hubbell, merges architecture and art in ecologically and aesthetically mindful ways and we therefore have the unique ability to incorporate fabricated architectural details such as stained glass, mosaic tile, gates, fountains and sculptures into our distinct designs.
