   Drew has been working in building systems commissioning and design for over 20 years moving up from a draftsman to his current role as electrical subject matter expert for the Genesis AEC commissioning department. Drew has experience with labs, data centers, hospitals, manufacturing, critical systems and networks. He synthesizes domains to add value to large scale construction projects. As a commissioning engineer he has overseen the startup and testing of hundreds of systems ranging from PLC controlled medium voltage switchgear to nation-wide networking infrastructure to integrated systems testing for megawatt plus high availability critical facilities. Drew was a speaker and/or panelist at 7x24 Exchange, AFCOM and Bisnow events. He has been quoted in or contributed to publications including Digital Guardian, CCN and Perimeter81. Drew advocates for systems and tools that reduce friction between CM, Owners, Subcontractors, Vendors, Engineers and commissioning. He as written and beta tested both enterprise and custom software that streamlined processes and drove scale. In his current position at Genesis AEC, Drew has managed and contributed projects across the US including hospitals, labs, data centers, warehousing and manufacturing.
