About Drew Deery
B.A. student of Sociology & Anthropology with a minor in Organizational Studies at Lafayette College. Pursuing a masters in Ship Brokering after graduating Spring of 2025 to enter the world of International Trade. I plan to enter a master’s program in Ship Brokerage to gain a deep understanding of marine logistics, vessel markets, and client relations. It is a perfect step toward using my interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills I\'ve learned through Sociology. Additionally, my experience as a Licensed 25 Ton Captain on Nantucket and Cape Cod has allowed me to gain a deep understanding of vessel operations, marine regulations, and maritime brokerage. My passion for working on the sea has been a lifelong dream which is why I am deeply motivated to expand my work as a Captain and Ship Broker in the world of Global Shipping.
