I have been a student athlete through my high school and college careers. I have been a team leader at each level helping my teammates achieve success on and off the field. I understand the importance of being part of a team and the need to work together to reach common goals. I have learned the power of resiliency through successes and failures in sports. Being a student athlete I have developed important organization, structure and time management skills. The time demands are intense and these skills help me stay on target in both my academic and team responsibilities. I believe I can be an asset by bringing a new and unique perspective to traditional practices.
