ABOUT DREW BECKIE

Over the past 13 years, I have been a professional soccer player. Throughout this career, I have learned countless lessons and experiences. Team work, camaraderie, disappointment, achievement, performance in a stress induced environment, and production year in and year out. I have been given the opportunity to move into the business side of sport and am lucky enough to work with great partners in Canada, Spain, Holland, China, and Italy to connect investors and their teams in sport projects around the world.Professional sport is unlike any other job, you either perform or you’re out. This sense of urgency stays with me each day. I am currently Assistant Coach & Director of Football Development with Canadian Premier League team, Atlético Ottawa. I work alongside our CEO Manuel Vega and our assistant GM, John Ulanowski, in the day to day operations of the club made possible through the large investment from Atlético de Madrid. I also hold equity and serve as the head of North American business development with CuboPro B.V. We have worked on the purchase of a multi million dollar clubs, Qatari investment into Padel, marketing of sports teams in China, and many others. Please see my resume attached.
