About Drew Bartels

I am Drew Bartels, a current junior at Indiana’s Kelley School of Business. I am passionate about operations, technology management, and business analytics and pursuing majors in these fields. My passion for business came from a high school incubator class where we had to create and run our own companies. This class led me to pursue business and ultimately chose Indiana University. While here, I have adopted skills of leadership and problem-solving during my time as a peer tutor and a mentor. These experiences, in addition to those on my resume, have led me to push myself to broaden my skill set and advance my knowledge of the business world. While on break, I enjoy volunteering in my hometown community to make a positive impact, especially during the holidays. I aim to be a teaching assistant for the modeling business data class. This would allow me to help others while advancing my experience with Microsoft programs such as Excel. I also plan to become more involved through the study abroad programs Indiana University offers. In the future, I see myself using these skills to oversee and lead a team to maximize performance and efficiency for organizations.
