About Drevin Rigby

When I was young, I started working on a dairy farm. Twice a day, every day we milked 300 cows. The cows were milked at 1:30am and 1:30pm. While the cows were continuedly being fed and milked, I managed/supervised 500+ acres of farmland. I worked year-round from planting to harvesting to ensure the success of the dairy. Most weeks, I would work 90-95 hours. Working on a farm for so many years taught me how to work hard and not give up. I learned valuable skills such as a hard work ethic, lending a hand when needed, common sense and problem solving. The last few years, I have had the opportunity to work on several construction crews. We have built homes, restaurants, commercial buildings, shops, and apartments. Working with a team on a central goal has helped me to build lasting relationships with coworkers. It has taught me to plan ahead, be precise, and go the extra mile. By doing these things, I was able to be a small part of the finished product which always turned out better than the customer imagined. I am also an avid fisherman and hiker having covered more than 750 miles of backcountry hiking trails and accomplishing five 50-mile backpacking excursions. I enjoy exercising daily to help me stay physically fit as well as to provide me with a clearer mind and greater confidence. I spent two years performing volunteer service in Arizona and Guatemala and I love learning about new cultures, as I’ve visited over 15 different countries. My ultimate goal is to make an impact in the lives of those with whom I coexist.
