About Eva J. Allen
Dr. Eva Allen is a dedicated educator, author, and leader with extensive experience in PK-12 education.Currently, Dr. Allen supports statewide initiatives designed to enhance educational outcomes for students with disabilities as an educational consultant with Pennsylvania’s Bureau of Special Education Training and Technical Assistance Network (PaTTAN). Prior to this role, she served the Pittsburgh Public School District as a teacher, administrator, and the District Learning Environment Specialist, Student Support Services. Dr. Allen is deeply committed to fostering inclusive learning environments where both students and educators can thrive. Her research led to the development of Cultural Care, a theory of practice that blends Invitational Education, collective efficacy, and culturally responsive strategies to support social-emotional growth and meaningful learning experiences.
