My goal is to advance the use Hip Hop and Electronic music production (beat making) and DJ\'ing, specifically Hip Hop and Electronic music, as a therapeutic and educational intervention to help under-served and resource-deprived youth to express themselves and gain new skills. As the creator of the Therapeutic Beat Making (TBM) model currently being used by Today\'s Future Sound (TFS) in school, juvenile detention, and community settings, as well as conducting research and writing on this topic.
