Dreammakerz Entertainment was founded in March 2005 by Industry Executive, Desiree Williams, after a series of talent shows turned into a successful venture and a demand for the Dreammakerz Entertainment brand from the world renowned VA producer, Teddy Riley who created a unique Talent Search opportunity which flourished under the direction of Ms. Williams. Understanding the need for community outreach, Ms. Williams continued to expand her company to encompass community affairs including a partnership with the City of Virginia Beach to present an HIV awareness concert featuring local and national acts. Additionally, Dreammakerz Entertainment facilitated the launch of successful branding campaigns for Wiz Energy Drink and Colour U Cosmetics, both releasing national advertising exceeding the goals presented. Ms. Williams is also credited with successfully coordinating talent for the largest Mid-Atlantic African-American Festival producing crowds of over in a three day period featuring local, regional and national performers. Not venturing far from her love for music, Ms. Williams added artist management to Dreammakerz Entertainment to include Female MC, Rah Digga, Rampage from Busta Rhymes\' Flip Mode Squad, most recently the rising talent, GhosMerck and nationally known DJ Erika B. Ms. Williams\' roster of talent have worked with some of the most notable producers from the VA music scene, including Grammy Winners Nottz Raw, Bink Dog, Timbaland and Multi Platinum producer, D.R. Period. Because of her relationships and contributions, Ms. Williams was recently inducted into the College of William and Mary Hip Hop Archives, the only of it\'s kind in the country.
