With over 28 years of experience in educational leadership, curriculum development, program innovation, and workforce alignment, I am deeply passionate about transforming Career and Technical Education (CTE) into a bridge between students and meaningful career opportunities. My work has consistently centered on expanding access to high-quality CTE programs, strengthening industry and postsecondary partnerships, and creating innovative learning models that equip students with the skills, credentials, and experiences needed for success beyond graduation.Throughout my career in education, I’ve led and contributed to initiatives that include:Designing and scaling 22 districtwide CTE Programs of Study aligned with regional labor market needs, including fields like Health Science, Engineering, Maritime, and Robotics.Launching dual credit and credentialing pathways in collaboration with local colleges, enabling students to graduate high school with industry-recognized certifications and college credit.Securing multimillion dollar funding through federal grants and private industry to enhance CTE infrastructure, program quality, and student access to emerging technologies.Implementing work-based learning initiatives, student-run enterprises, and K–8 career exploration programs to build early awareness and hands-on readiness. Providing campus-level leadership as a Principal, Assistant Principal, and Magnet Coordinator, focused on instructional excellence, operational oversight, and student engagement.I am committed to fostering educational equity, empowering educators, and building systems that connect learning with opportunity.
