About Danón Carter
As a Senior Vice President at CBS Academy, I have over 20 years of consulting and operations experience, training leaders at all levels, nationally and internationally. I specialize in talent development, leadership training and development, diversity and inclusion, performance management, curriculum design and delivery, coaching and mentoring, and business transformation. I have successfully managed multi-million-dollar contracts and budgets, led the transition from pre-pandemic in-person training to virtual and module training, and built and maintained strong client relations through effective communication and engagement. In addition to my role at CBS Academy, I am also a Doctoral Mentor and Professor at California Southern University, and an Associate Professor at Southwestern Assemblies of God University, where I teach various courses in management, finance, and international business. I have a Doctor of Management, Organizational Leadership degree, a Master of Management degree, and a Bachelor of Computer Science and Black Studies degree. I am also the author of Wounds of the Heart: A Heart Exposed, a book about healing from emotional wounds. My mission is to empower and inspire others to achieve their educational and professional goals, while creating a unique organizational culture where both leaders and followers unite to reach organizational goals without positional or authoritative power. I practice and promote servant leadership, a leadership philosophy that addresses the concerns of ethics, customer experience, and employee engagement.
