ABOUT DANIEL PETERS
I\'m CEO and co-founder of MarraBio Ltd, a spinout from Newcastle University specialising in the high yield, low cost production of engineered bacterial protein polymers. We aim to use our technology to provide an alternative way of supplying biological signals to cells at both small and large scales, with a particular focus on cultivated meat. My background is in protein structure, characterisation and design. I previously worked as a post-doc in the lab of Prof. Jeremy Lakey, helping to build the technology used by MarraBio.
