Design and teach undergraduate courses in Human Communications focusing on strategic, interpersonal, & intercultural communications, research methods, mental health, ministry and social justice. Teach Ministry and Communication where students have the opportunity to explore the call to serve, study the work of discipleship, learn the art of sermon construction, and develop strategies for effective communication and impactful leadership.Lead semester-long research projects in Small Groups Communication & Research and Social Problems classes, where students partner with Atlanta Public Schools to explore issues of mental health, equity and systemic challenges. Guide students through the entire research process, from problem identification to methodology development, data collection, and analysis. Facilitate meaningful partnerships with Atlanta Public School administrators, building relationships to address community needs. Mentor and support students develop practical leadership skills and prepare them for careers as researchers, policymakers, and leaders in the field. Utilize platforms like Blackboard and Zoom to deliver engaging, interactive online courses, incorporating innovative teaching technologies to enhance student engagement and ensure a successful virtual learning experience.
