ABOUT DOUGLAS BURBELLA

I am open to any job offers that would make use of my strong leadership skills and vast experience in the medical field. Part-time work would be okay, as would 100% travel. Feel free to reach out to me, as I am very approachable. I am currently working at Advanced Integrative Healthcare as a Medical Consultant. I am also working for Samaritan\'s Purse on the DART medical team, a rapid response team that responses to global disasters. I am also volunteering as a medical doctor on short term humanitarian trips abroad as well as serving on the board of two NGO\'s. I have worked previously in the health care field as a medical doctor, senior medical associate, medical director of an NGO, naturopathic physician, acupuncture physician, massage therapist, medical examiner, paramedic, EMT. My past non-medical related jobs are too numerous to list, but a short list would include commercial diver, boat yard owner/ operator, marine mechanic, seafood market owner/ operator, carpet cleaning business owner/ operator, electrician apprentice, realtor/ real estate investor. I have over 40 years of management experience. I have a special ability to take over failing businesses and bring them into profitability. I am a people person. I am quick to listen to the insight of my employees, which often holds the key to a stagnant business. I am an encourager, as well as gifted in teaching and problem solving. My vast global experiences allow me to engage a wide diversity of people groups. I have an uncanny ability to understand people with strong accents, and I have vast training in cultural sensitivity. I am serving on the advisory board of the Disque Foundation which provides free training in multiple life-saving medical modalities. https://disquefoundation.org/advisory-board/. I also serve as the Medical Director for Living Water Ministries. https://livingwaterhaiti.org/
