About Brian Barnes
I am open to exploring new types of activities or perfecting established skills. I embrace the unfamiliar, enjoy traveling, revel in the world\'s various cultures, and always enjoy a challenge. I have made a career from teaching, but I am always open to learning first, and I am not afraid of adopting a student\'s point of view. I thrive when leading motivated teams toward satisfying, socially-conscious, and powerful project outcomes.

At this institution, I teach primarily in Philosophy, but not exclusively. My Philosophy courses are Introduction to Ethics, Elementary Logic, Environmental Ethics, Business Ethics, and Introduction to Philosophy. In Religion, I teach Introduction to Eastern Religions, and I also teach Introduction to Humanities. I have taught three multidisciplinary seminars: The Japanese Sword, Sustainable Action Workshop, and Critical Thinking and Being Human.
