ABOUT CLAIRE BRASH

Claire is an enthusiastic and diligent academic medical Doctor and graduated Rector’s Scholar from Imperial College London School of Medicine (Class of 2018), currently working as a LED Neurosurgery ST2 at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (20••••26).A previous Royal College of Psychiatrists Pathfinder Fellow (20••••18) and Academic Foundation Programme Doctor with Newcastle-upon-Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Newcastle University (20••••20), she is passionate about clinical research and the interconnected nature of the brain and mind. Furthermore, Claire was part of the winning Imperial College team at the Institute of Medical Ethics National Debating Competition (2013) and on Committee for the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM) Student Policy Initiative (2017). Claire\'s passion for outreach and tutoring led her to become President\'s Ambassador for Imperial College London (20••••18) and Newcastle University Medicine Malaysia Clinical Teaching Fellow (20••••21)m where she worked in Johor Bahru during the COVID19 pandemic, teaching, mentoring and assessing international MBBS Years 1-5 students. She holds a PGCert MedEd from Newcastle University (2021) and Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (2018). Finally, after being awarded Scholarship of the Healthcare Leadership Academy (20••••19), she was granted Fellowship of the Institute of Leadership and Management in recognition of her confident leadership and project management skills.
