   As an independent therapeutic and educational placement specialist, I help families with children of all ages and stages find the most appropriate therapeutic and educational options for their children. Available options range from in-home services, out-of-home placement, transition-to-home services, and psychological and educational testing services. I work with families all across the US and internationally to help them figure out the best option for their child and their family. I engage in a deliberative process of assessing, analyzing, and synthesizing written documents and verbal conversations with parents and professionals to formulate well informed recommendations. Once a family makes a decision to follow a recommendation, I facilitate working with in-home professionals or with admissions in a therapeutic setting and then monitor the child\'s progress for a year to give advice, guidance, and advocacy throughout a family\'s journey.
