Established the in- house laboratory for the hospital. Most services are being done on-site. Certain rare tests & Histopathology/ Cytopathology tests are outsourced to centers of excellence. Started also a licensed blood & blood component storage facility. Laboratory participates in both Internal & External quality assessments. Laboratory services & blood banking activities accredited as part of the hospital in both NABH and ISO 9001; 2015 accreditations. Handed over the management of the laboratory to an external investor in December 2021, while continuing as the Senior Consultant in Hematopathology and technical in- charge of laboratory activities.
