With 19+ years in IT, I lead as a strategic technologist and servant leader at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, serving the College of Arts & Sciences. I currently oversee IT operations, application development, and data analytics, aligning technology with institutional strategy and empowering teams to deliver impact,My approach combines business insight (MBA in Business Analytics) and hands-on development experience to shape scalable, sustainable solutions—from BI dashboards to web apps and operational systems.I am passionate about cultivating innovation, enhancing collaboration, and mentoring emerging technologists.I’m currently expanding my focus to include AI literacy in higher education—both as a learner and an educator. As generative AI and automation reshape the academic and administrative landscape, I believe that equipping staff, faculty, and students with foundational AI understanding is essential.To support this, I’ve begun delivering presentations and workshops that demystify AI concepts, use cases, and ethical considerations.    Mar 2026 — Present

   Selected to participate in the inaugural Nebraska Cohort, of the Strategic Data Project (SDP) Fellowship, a two-yearcapacity-building program that places data strategists in education agencies to have animmediate impact on policy decisions that affect student outcomes and execute on anactionable strategic data project. It includes extensive training in measurement and analysis,leadership and change management, and education policy. Based at the Center for EducationPolicy Research at Harvard University, this program includes:• intensive professional development workshops and modules, including two nationalconferences, featuring leading faculty and practitioners from Harvard and beyond;• extensive training in measurement and analysis, leadership and change management,and education policy;• exposure to rigorous and timely research in education reform and a portfolio ofresources to support analytic skill-building;• access to a national network of forward-thinking colleagues who are innovating newprograms and techniques in K–12 organizations across the United States; and• execution of an actionable strategic data project in collaboration with NSWERS.
