ABOUT ASHLEY CROSS

Dr. Ashley Cross is the Senior Director of Education and Content at ATLIS, where she leads professional learning strategy and content development for independent school technology leaders. She directs ongoing programs such as the ATLIS Leadership Institute, manages conference content, and oversees proposal reviews, curates monthly programming, and leads committees that develop and update key resources for the association. A frequent speaker and published author, she contributes regularly to Access Points magazine, supports podcast and editorial initiatives, and is often sought out as a subject matter expert for national education publications. Earlier in her career, Ashley worked with the Tennessee Department of Education, served on national advisory boards for organizations such as Scholastic, collaborated internationally with groups including the Global Education Conference and Singapore’s Ministry of Education, and briefly volunteered in advocacy efforts supporting STEM opportunities for women and minorities. As a graduate assistant, she worked on NSF grant on the topic of STEM/Flipped Classrooms between schools in Finland, Africa, and the United States. Her own research explored Makerspaces in K-12 schools as an application of constructivist learning. Ashley has extensive conference planning experience, including: ATLIS Annual Conference, ShiftinEdu (formerly Miami Device), Tennessee Educational Technology Conference, Sumner County Education Conference, and EdCamp meetups. Ashley is a Certified Association Executive (CAE), Google Certified Innovator, and a STAR Discovery Educator. She holds a doctorate in Learning Technologies from Pepperdine University.
