ABOUT DANIEL ARNDT
I am a Wildlife Biologist with a passion for high quality data collection supporting environmental surveys throughout western Canada. To me, the most important aspect of my work is the quality and integrity of the data that is collected, analyzed, and ultimately reported on. With this in mind, it is absolutely vital to any team to have a top notch bird biologist to help with those data, and train others who have the desire and interest to learn.My area of specialization is focused on bird surveys of all types, including breeding birds, sharp-tailed grouse, burrowing owls, and bird migration surveys to support renewable energy projects. I also have extensive experience conducting mammal, reptile, and amphibian surveys throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. I love the work that I do, and my strongest asset is my unquenchable thirst for knowledge, and learning more about the natural history of not only my survey subjects, but all aspects of the environment. I have experience leading field crews for extended field seasons for long hours each day, but am equally capable of self-management and delivering results of the highest quality and integrity.
