A physician (MBBS, MD) with training in business management at IIT Bombay (SJMSOM) and in the application of AI in Business at MIT Sloan School of Management, Arnab has been leading medium-to-large scale digital transformation and AI-driven innovations at the intersection of medicine and technology. His work has delivered measurable impact in diagnostics, monitoring, and preventive health—creating scalable solutions that improve outcomes and unlock new growth opportunities in healthcare.Partnering with innovative start-ups, he pioneered ML-powered smart health reports (2018,$12M product) in preventive care space at national level and spearheaded digital pathology transformation partnering with Microsoft, OptraScan, and Philips (2019, 2.5X productivity gain in LBC based Cervical Cancer screening workflow) at SRL. At JioHealth, he helped develop the decision tree based digital COVID pass and health status dashboard for return-to-work of Reliance and its partner org employees (~1M hits on API/day), co-developed an interoperable (basis LOINC, SNOMED and ICD10 standards) health data platform, led predictive AI/ML model development (Decision tree, Logistic regression, DL models using Microsoft Azure Cloud Tech/OCR and Google vision pro) and enterprise partnerships with wearable and point-of-care medical device companies to expand healthcare access.Currently, Arnab heads Front-end Innovation (Clinical Science and Advanced Development) at Philips IGTS Mobile Surgery in a global role, where his team (in India and Netherlands) focuses on the next generation X-ray fluoroscopy systems, clinical application suites and smart integration of AI (mathematical, Gen AI, DL models) into processes and products through a customer focused, data-driven strategy.Arnab has spoken at 50+ medical and industry forums across South Asia and the Middle East, including the FICCI Innovation Forum and the CII Technology Summit. Recently, Arnab was invited to contribute to the preparation of the \"National Artificial Intelligence Strategy for Health\" of India aimed at guiding the ethical and responsible adoption of AI technologies across the healthcare sector.
