I have worked with a very hardworking team at DAMS | Emedicoz to bring out a first-of-its-kind course to residents in India - Introductory Virology and Molecular Techniques. This course deals with the conventional and new molecular techniques used to diagnose and manage old and emerging viral infections. The lectures also include regularly asked questions in the MD exams and practical viva voice. Apart from clinical virology, it includes clinical descriptions of features of various important viral infections such as viral haemorrhagic fevers, hepatitis viruses etc. I recommend you to please join the course and feel the difference in upliftment of your knowledge in Clinical Virology.

ABOUT ARJUN BHUGRA
As an accomplished virologist and medical microbiologist, my journey has been fueled by a profound and unwavering passion for infectious diseases since my undergraduate days. This dedication led me to pursue and successfully complete my MD in Medical Microbiology at St. John’s Medical College, Bengaluru, where my thesis on dengue viral infections laid the groundwork for my career. Following this, I gained invaluable experience as a Senior Resident at a state government medical college in Hisar, Haryana, where I honed my skills in the clinical and diagnostic aspects of the field. My commitment to specialisation drove me to complete a post-doctoral certificate course in Transplant Virology from the prestigious Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences, New Delhi, further deepening my expertise. Over the past seven years as a virologist, I have been extensively trained in both conventional and advanced molecular methods for diagnosing a wide range of infections. My passion for research was further solidified by completing the Foundation for Clinical Research Course offered by Harvard Medical School, Boston, which provided me with a robust understanding of clinical trial design and methodology. A testament to my contributions to the scientific community, I have published several papers in esteemed peer-reviewed journals. I am driven by a continuous desire to learn, teach, and contribute to the crucial field of infection sciences, leveraging my comprehensive experience to address the complex challenges posed by infectious diseases. While serving in my senior residency, I was also put in quite a few managerial roles, such as teaching and managing Year 2 undergraduates. I also served as infection control officer for the initial 10 months of my residency in MAMC, Hisar.
