Open to New Opportunities!I am a communication course designer, educator, consultant, and researcher. In my current position, I have designed, prepped, and taught a variety of college courses - nonverbal, interpersonal, conflict, organizational, family, and business & professional speaking - both asynchronously and synchronously. As an enthusiastic educator I ask my students to be active in their quest for knowledge! The main goals I want my students to accomplish are aligned with the Communication and Media Studies program goals: 1. Critical analysis of messages; 2. Crafting context appropriate messages; and 3. Answer questions using social scientific research.As a qualitative social scientific researcher my skills are project management, literature review writing through synthesis of current literature, in-depth one-on-one interviews and focus groups, thematic analysis, and effectively communicating and disseminating information findings to a variety of audiences. Editing, proofreading, and critical analysis are also key competencies when publishing or reviewing other manuscripts for publication. One of my strongest abilities is to communicate and build strong relationships with the people around me. This is essential when teaching, mentoring, and coaching. My strengths not only reside in relationship building, but also in training/workshop development, learning & development, course design, public presentation, and independent/collaborative work to name a few.
