Your life is your own quote, so define it.” This perfectly captures the significant shift I’ve made in my career—from starting in marketing to transitioning into IT, and after a decade in academic R&D, I’ve now been a corporate professional for a year.It’s been an exciting and deeply fulfilling journey!During my PhD, I engaged in extensive research, honing my ability to think critically, design experiments, analyze data, and solve complex problems. I developed resilience, learned to embrace failure, and adapted innovative approaches with confidence. I gained proficiency in advanced laboratory techniques, data analysis software, and scientific writing. Mentoring undergraduate students and junior researchers enhanced my leadership skills and provided me with a strong sense of fulfillment. Presenting my findings at international conferences helped me build essential communication skills for sharing knowledge with diverse audiences, leading to publications in international journals. My exposure to various scientific disciplines deepened my understanding of interconnected biological systems and their implications. Addressing ethical issues in research instilled a strong sense of integrity and responsibility in my scientific practice.My post-doctoral research opened my eyes to translational research, expanding my understanding of method and product development.
