ABOUT AMIT KARMAKAR
I am a passionate Earth Science Researcher with hands-on experience in coal characterization, petrography, and mineral processing, currently working at CSIR-Central Institute of Mining and Fuel Research (CIMFR), Dhanbad. With a PhD in coal beneficiation and organo-petrographic analysis, my research bridges the gap between academic insights and industrial application especially in the context of cleaner energy and critical mineral recovery.Over the years, I have contributed to national-level projects like the National Inventory of Critical Elements in Indian Coals (NICE) and published several peer-reviewed SCI articles focusing on coal utilization, energy value transformation, and environmental risk assessments.
