About Amina Abdullah-Winstead
Dr. Amina Abdullah holds a PhD in Human Services and a Master’s degree in Management. She has over twenty years of combined practical experience as an educator and human services professional from positions held in academia, telecommunications, health care, and health insurance. She is the Lead Faculty for Saint Leo University’s Human Services program in the Virginia Peninsula. In addition to this appointment, she assists Custodians of Faith, a nonprofit 501(c)(3), with program initiatives, marketing, branding, and volunteering. She organizes community services initiatives as well as service learning experiences. She is a published author of the series “Their Journey to the PhD”, a collection of stories from women who earned a doctoral degree.
