I’m Dr. Alicia Smart, the founder and clinical director of Guidepost DBT, where we provide comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with an emphasis on in-person care. I\'m also the co-founder and chief training officer at TheraHive.com, which offers online DBT skills groups to a global audience.I\'m a DBT-Linehan Board of Certification, Certified Clinician with extensive training in various therapeutic modalities, including DBT, Radically Open DBT (RO-DBT), Emotion-Focused Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Exposure Therapy. I have experience working with diverse populations, from children and adolescents to couples and older adults. Additionally, I supervise therapists transitioning into DBT and associates at the beginning of their careers.I’m passionate about helping people improve their lives through evidence-based therapy.
