As Programme Manager at RSSB, I lead a strategically important portfolio of 12 programmes, each averaging £1 million, focused on research, sustainability and future rail innovation. These initiatives strengthen industry standards, enhance safety and support the transition towards a greener, more efficient railway.Delivering across complex, multi-stakeholder environments, I collaborate closely with the Department for Transport, Network Rail, ORR, Train and Freight Operating Companies, and key suppliers to ensure alignment between strategic intent and operational delivery.Key responsibilities and achievements include:• Delivering programmes with multi-year cumulative benefits exceeding £500 million, driving cost savings, carbon reduction, process efficiency, technology adoption and step improvements across the rail industry.• Providing hands-on management of high-complexity, sensitive projects, ensuring critical deliverables are met to time, cost and quality.• Leading and developing a team of six Project and Senior Project Managers, embedding professional excellence and consistent delivery standards.• Establishing robust governance and assurance frameworks in line with RSSB’s Delivery Assurance processes.• Proactively managing risk, change and interdependencies to sustain performance and maximise benefits realisation.• Championing innovation and continuous improvement through the Sustainable Rail Blueprint and Future Rail initiatives.

I have successfully delivered in widely varying situations.In the past 15 years I have been involved in the turnaround of a team in real estate / property management as a division of a top bank, helped a start-up in e-commerce to successfully transition to a scale-up company and right now I am part of a R&D project for the rail industry. Recently I have relocated to the UK supporting my wife in her senior expatriated position. As the current project is coming to a successful closure I am looking for new opportunities and I am ready to embrace new project challenges in construction, real estate, property management or transportation. I am PRINCE2 Agile® Practitioner Certificate in Agile Project Management, MSP® Foundation Certificate in Programme Management and APM Project Management Qualification certificate.
